ROBINSON J. CYPRIAN (AHAB)

(He/Him) returns to Theatre in the Dark, previously lending his voice as a swing in fall 2020’s A War of the Worlds, where he performed as both HG Wells and Dr. Ogilvy. Onstage roles include John Proctor in The Crucible, Father Mapple in Moby Dick Rehearsed, and Solly Two Kings in Gem of the Ocean. He is a co-founder of RoBenHood Productions based in Southern Louisiana, where they produced and he directed a covid-centered production of The Pillowman this past fall. He is a native of Hammond, Louisiana and a recent graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he graduated with a degree in Theatre. MACK GORDON (STARBUCK, STUBB)

(He/Him) is a professional theatre artist and cofounder of Theatre in the Dark. His work with the company includes writing and acting credits for Three Stories Up; A War of the Worlds; and A Christmas Carol in the Dark. His work has been published in Discorder Magazine, Carte Blanche, and Speakeasy Theatre’s Pull Festival Anthology. His plays have been produced by ITSAZOO Productions (DEBTS,  FIVE RED BALLOONS), Western Canada Theatre (THE BALLAD OF THE BURNING  LADY), Upintheair Theatre (VISITORS), Alley Theatre (THREE STORIES UP)  and Level-Headed Friends Productions (SIX FINE LINES; SHAKE THE SHEETS!;  DEAD CELEBRITIES). He is a three-time writing contributor to Sum Theatre's Pull Festival and a four-time Jessie Richardson Theatre Award nominee. As an actor, Mack has worked with Chicago Dramatists as well as such Canadian companies as Bard on the Beach, The Arts Club, Carousel Theatre, Green Thumb, The Firehall Arts Centre, Pacific Theatre, and many others. He is also a corporate events coordinator and emcee with the popular Game Show Night and has party planned for EA Games, Morningstar Homes, and Eleven Food Group. ELIZABETH MCCOY (ISHMAEL)

(She/Her) has appeared on stage and in film numerous times since receiving her BFA in performance from The University of Southern Mississippi. Past credits include: A WAR OF THE WORLDS with Theatre in the Dark, SUDDENLY, LAST SUMMER with The Tennessee Williams Theatre Company, and A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE with Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre. COREY BRADBERRY (ADAPTER, DIRECTOR)

(He/Him) is Producing Artistic Director and co-founder of Theatre in the Dark, directing THREE STORIES UP and A WAR OF THE WORLDS; and lending his voice as Scrooge in A CHRISTMAS CAROL IN THE DARK. Corey is a Kennedy Center National Directing Fellow and received the City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs’ Emerging Artist Award prior to receiving an MFA in Directing from the University of Southern Mississippi. Corey has assistant directed with major theatre institutions including the Alliance Theatre, the Kennedy Center, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta History Center, and Chicago’s Second City; in addition to projects with smaller companies including Theatrical Outfit, Flying Carpet Theatre Company, and Artemisia. He has held teaching positions with the Alliance Theatre, University of Southern Mississippi, Kennesaw State University, the Swift School, Stagedoor Manor, and Atlanta Children’s Theatre. He is a graduate of the Second City Advanced Directing program, holds a BA in Theatre & Performance Studies, and has trained with the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre. NICK MONTOPOLI (Composer/MUSICIAN)

(He/Him) Hailed by the Washington Post as a performer with "no-fail agility," Nick Montopoli is one of the most versatile musicians in the Austin area, with composition, performance, and session experience over a wide range of genres and instruments.

Nick’s composition work includes both concert and media music. He records, arranges, and produces independently, where he has collaborated on hundreds of recordings with artists from over 30 countries. Nick won First Prize winner in the 2020 California Independent Film Festival score competition, and also works in the studio of composer Graham Reynolds, participating on scores for films and releases for networks including Netflix and the BBC. 

Nick is a founding member of Invoke, a folk-infused quartet whose repertoire features original compositions by the group and works by exciting young American composers. Invoke won First Prize at the 2018 M-Prize and Coltman competitions, and at the 2015 Savvy Musician in ACTION competition, and was selected as Young Professional String Quartet in Residence at the University of Texas. nickmontopoli.com


Jake Kaufmann (Associate Producer, Sponsorships & Community Partnerships)

(He/Him) is from Chicago and went to school at Roosevelt University in the South Loop for Marketing. He is currently working in Media Production and does freelance photography as well. He enjoys the outdoors, reading, coffee, hockey, music, and still talks about Game of Thrones even though it's over. His favorite theatre experience was seeing The Lion King as a kid (he cried at the end). Jake is looking forward to being a part of MDITD.

SOLANA OLIVER (ASSOC. PRODUCER, SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER)

(She/They) is an emerging Arts Administrator, Social Media Manager, and Producer with experience and knowledge in almost all aspects of the theatre world - a proud jack of all trades. She has recently received a BFA in Theatre Management at The Theatre School at DePaul University, with minors in both Business Administration, and Management. Their ties to their Black and Mestiza culture drive them to find institutional change centered around fully developed representation for POC. She leads with her heart to create spaces for healthy, love-driven dialogue about the world around us.
